Many of us hanker for a downtown anchor in Eugene - not the sort of anchor that drags everything down, but the retail-style anchor that businesses build around.

A large investment in a single spot creates coherence and confidence. That in turn draws the investment of others who want to be nearby.

Fortunately, Eugene residents can take direct action to support that downtown anchor by voting for Measure 20-111, which continues the operating levy (at a slightly lower rate) that supports the Eugene Public Library system.
