PARIS -- CARTES 2006--Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) announced today that it has released a new EMV/PCI approved unattended bankcard reader module for use in the rapidly growing self-service kiosk market. The new Optimum H2210 is a manual hybrid card reader accepting both magnetic stripe and smart cards and offering key size, integration and flexibility advantages over competitive units. It complements Hypercom's growing portfolio of unattended payment products, including the Optimum H2200 motorized chip & PIN card reader released last year.
