PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Japan-based INPEX HOLDINGS INC. is currently gearing-up to drill at 4 locations in eastern Indonesia in order to identify viable gas fields that could help Japan reduce its reliance on Middle East oil. The company, for that matter, has identified a gas deposit that could generate as much as 3 million tons of liquid natural gas (LNG) per year in an eastern Indonesian field in the Timor Sea.
