Made2Manage Systems, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN, 317-249-1270)(www.made2manage.com), a provider of enterprise software and services for small and mid-size (SME) manufacturers, has purchased substantially all of the assets of DTR Software International (Jacksonville, FL). DTR provides manufacturing, distribution, and financial management software designed for the industry-specific needs of plastics processors.
"As of today (the acquisition was announced on the 4th of August), Made2Manage Systems offers the strongest plastics-focused ERP solution available in the SME market," declared Jeff Tognoni, President and CEO of Made2Manage Systems. "Both parties are thrilled with the benefits the acquisition will bring to Made2Manage Systems' now 1900-strong customer base."
DTR's signature product, currently called "the manufacturing manager," or TMM, will be re-branded as a Made2Manage Systems product in the future. The product will be maintained and enhanced as a separate version of the Made2Manage(r) enterprise business system solution.
The manufacturing manager and the Made2Manage enterprise business system will be made available separately to both current and prospective Made2Manage customers across the plastics processing industry. "We are pleased with our increased plastics processing domain expertise, as well as the strengthened breadth of solutions we have to offer that industry," stated Frank O'Nell, manager of product management for Made2Manage Systems.
