America Online, Inc., the world's leading interactive services company, today announced the release of an update to the popular AOL(R) Instant Messenger(TM) (AIM(R)) service. The AIM 5.9 update includes the integration of AOL's You've Got Pictures(R) digital picture service; the dramatic enhancement of the AIM Expressions(TM) feature and the addition of AIM(R) 3D computer-animated SuperBuddy(TM) Icons; and the introduction of an AIM(R) Fun Tools feature and a new AIM(R) Toolbar.
