Morris Raymond
COTTAGE GROVE - The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at Calvary Baptist Church in Cottage Grove for Morris W. Raymond of Cottage Grove, who died Sept. 27 of Parkinson's disease. He was 71.
He was born Feb. 3, 1935, in Cottage Grove to Carlton and Pearl Spears Raymond. He married Betty Woody on Oct. 4, 1957, in Cottage Grove.
Raymond served in the National Guard. He worked as a mill worker for 31 years at Bohemia Lumber Company in Culp Creek.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy of Cottage Grove; and a brother, Lester of Cottage Grove.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove, with burial at Sears Cemetery in Cottage Grove. Remembrances to Parkinson's Resources of Oregon in Portland.
