CORVALLIS - It's not exactly a do-or-be-done-in kind of game.

But the Beavers, and those who follow them, should have a considerably better read on just what kind of football team Oregon State is late this afternoon.

Cal's coming to town, ranked 20th in the nation, averaging more than 44 points in its past three games - all victories - and armed with a ton of talent. The Beavers are in for a bit of a final exam early in the Pac-10 Conference term.

"I think their last game (a 49-21 win over Arizona State) kind of summarizes all of it," Oregon State coach Mike Riley said.
