Clyde Ellison Jr.

Clyde Ellison Jr. of Eugene died Sept. 25 of age-related causes at age 76. No service is planned.

He was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Corvallis to Clyde and Ruth Murphree Ellison.

Ellison served in the Air Force in the late 1950s. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

He is survived by a brother, Ken Ellison of Eugene.

Floyd Scott

SPRINGFIELD - Floyd G. Scott of Springfield died Sept. 23 of congestive heart failure at age 70. No service is planned.

He was born July 17, 1936, in Eugene to Roy and Odetta Richmond Scott. He and his wife, Nancy, were married June 16, 1956, in Portland.

Scott worked in the lumber industry and as a Springfield firefighter. He served in the Air Force in 1955.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Russell Scott of Cheyenne, Wyo., Arlan Scott of Aloha, Barbara Scott of Seattle and Carol Scott of Springfield; a brother, Robert of Wynnewood, Okla.; a sister, Margaret Van Cleave of Springfield; and one grandchild.

Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.

Kathleen Ousley

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at First Congregational Church in Eugene for Kathleen R. "Kappy" Ousley of Eugene, who died Sept. 18 of Parkinson's disease at age 89.

Ousley was born May 20, 1917, in Hazelton, B.C., to Robert and Eunice Erskine Rock. She married Glen Ousley on Sept. 26, 1942, in Seattle.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Dan of Enterprise; two daughters, Kathleen Ousley Erskine and Patty Ousley, both of Seattle; and one grandchild.
