Detention center holds teen found with guns

A 15-year-old boy arrested with two loaded handguns inside a shed at Sheldon High School on Wednesday was ordered held in the county's juvenile detention center after a hearing Thursday.

The youth is charged with first-degree burglary, three counts of unlawful weapon possession and four counts of theft for a burglary Tuesday in which he allegedly stole three firearms and some DVDs, Deputy Lane County District Attorney Mark Haight said. In connection...
