TUSTIN, Calif. -- Arnold J. Kleiner, President and General Manager of ABC7, will receive the Community Partnership Reach Out Award from the YMCA of Orange County Community Services Branch at the 31st Annual Reach Out Awards, to be held Sept. 29 at the Costa Mesa Hilton.
Kleiner, who is known in the media as a pioneer in hiring diverse news anchors, managers, and staff, and producing programs that truly reflect the multicultural Los Angeles region, will receive the award for his support of the YMCA's nationally recognized "Kid Healthy" Steps to Healthy Living, Diabetes and Obesity Prevention campaign.
