The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1 at First Christian Church in Eugene for Vivian Josephine Templar of Eugene, who died Aug. 25 of age-related causes at age 91. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today, Aug. 31, at England's Eugene Memorial Chapel 1152 Olive St.
She was born Feb. 28, 1915, in Mesa, Ariz., to Ivy and Hannah Norton Sawyer. She married E. Howard Robertson in Klamath Falls in 1933. He died in February 1966. She married Carl Templar in May, 1974.
She co-owned a poultry farm in Dexter for 15 years and had worked as a supervisor in the admitting department at Sacred Heart Hospital before retiring.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Delbert Robertson of Grants Pass; two daughters, Barbara Hake of Gooding, Idaho, and Beverly Robertson of Eugene; a sister, Dorothy Steele of Pleasant Hill; two stepchildren, Judy Salter of Molalla and Wilbur Templar of Beaverton; eight grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
