The father of an army officer who may face charges for refusing to go to Iraq spoke at a Eugene peace rally on Tuesday in support of his son and called for change in Washington, D.C.

At the noon event at the federal courthouse plaza, Bob Watada described his son, Lt. Ehren Watada, as a loyal American willing to suffer the consequences of his actions.
