White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen respects Tampa Bay Devil Rays counterpart Joe Maddon for questioning Freddy Garcia's intentions during Tuesday night's game at U.S. Cellular Field.

But Guillen said there is no way Garcia was trying to hit Delmon Young with a pitch. Making his major-league debut in the game, Young was hit in the back by a Garcia fastball during his first at- bat.

"I want the word out that that's the last time that should happen," Maddon said after the game.
