Jacqueline Webb

OAKRIDGE - Jacqueline G. Webb of Oakridge died July 15 of complications during heart surgery. She was 76.

Webb was born April 27, 1928, in Dayton, Wyo., to Coleman and Gwendolyn Madison Chapman. She married George Webb in Vancouver, Wash., on April 6, 1945. He died Jan. 16, 1992.

She lived in this area for 24 years.

Her interests included western art, gardening, hunting and bird watching.

Survivors include her life partner, Gordon Walker; and a son, Gary of South Bend, Wash.

No service is planned. Oakridge Chapel of the Woods Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Hill

A graveside service will be held Aug. 2 for Beatrice Hill of Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Eugene, who died July 29 of cancer. She was 92.

Hill was born April 6, 1912, in Roseburg to Clyde and Clara Morrison Faulkner. She married Delbert Hill in Eugene on Aug. 6, 1939. He later died.

She lived in Eugene for more than 80 years before moving to Vancouver to be near her daughters.
