I'm happy to report that the new bylaws, replacing those crafted originally in 1953, were approved by the members of the Foundation at our meeting of Trustees and members on April 18, 2006. Although printing and postal delays allowed little time for responses by proxy, well more than the required 10 percent of the eligible members voted, and those votes were overwhelmingly in favor of the change.
