Patience may be a virtue to some, but for Jamie Sutton, being impatient has been the key to success.

The 25-year-old entrepreneur made a command decision at 19 to forgo the higher education route in lieu of starting his own small magazine publishing business. Sutton runs What's Here!, Inc., which publishes concierge guides for San Diego County's visitor and tourism market.

"At times it can be a weakness and at times it can be a great benefit," Sutton said, referring to his propensity for not waiting. "'I just always knew; when I was 13, 14 years old, I knew I was going to have a business of my own and I saw no reason to put it off."
