Many executives only realize that our healthcare system is as fragile as it is when one of their loved ones needs to find the best care.

I know this because many times I get urgent calls for assistance in finding a specialist or the right hospital to treat a devastating disease or condition. Many of theses calls come from people employed in the healthcare industry; even they aren't always sure how to go about selecting the right provider. It astounds me that so many people who are involved in healthcare can't navigate the system. It's another example of how complex and amorphous the system is in this country.
