I am a creature of habit. I stick with the things that have worked well for me, and that includes vehicles, transportation services, fishing tackle, hunting gear, outdoor clothing, and the like.

I usually frequent the same restaurants because of their excellent menus and service.

In fact, I'll go out of my to find the best service for whatever activity I involve myself in. One of those activities is air travel. I used to have favorite carriers, but that's all changed.

I have traveled extensively throughout Illinois to fish and hunt. I did that by using my own vehicle as well as a commercial airline. And there are many times I regret flying because of the tremendous problems associated with it following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Gone are those days...
