Oregon recruits Joevan Catron and Tajuan Porter have been invited to the USA Basketball Men's U-18 National Team trials in San Antonio on June 16.

The incoming Duck freshmen are among 22 players competing for roster spots to play in the 2006 FIBA Americas U-18 Championship, also in San Antonio, from June 28 to July 2.

The 5-foot-7 Porter, from Detroit, is one of three point guards on the trials roster. The 6-6 Catron, from Harvey, Ill., will compete with 12 other forwards.

Washington's Lorenzo Romar is head coach of the U-18 team and will be assisted Paul Hewitt of Georgia Tech and Jerry Wainwright...
