One son is dead, shot inside a stolen pickup truck by a police officer who thought he was going for a gun. The older son is on probation for delivering methamphetamine to customers of his drug-dealing father.

The father, Charles Lesley Porter, stood in court on Friday - fighting back tears and facing a 10-year prison term for soliciting the murder of the police officer who killed his 15-year-old son and for training his 17-year-old to be a drug dealer.
