California law requires employers to provide all managers with sexual harassment prevention training. The California Labor Code mandates two hours of training for managers of employers with more than 50 employees, even if the employer is located out of state and has as few as one employee in California.

California Law AB 1825 was designed to reduce the exploding number of sexual harassment complaints to the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) by requiring employers to train their managers on how to avoid the cause of the complaints, namely harassing behavior.
