Bears fans couldn't be blamed if they blurted out, "Who?" when safety Danieal Manning's name was announced as the team's first draft pick late Saturday afternoon.

Even Manning, who also was a standout return specialist at Abilene Christian, was surprised he was picked so soon. Still, it was six hours into the production before the Bears chose him.

They traded down from their first-round pick (26th overall) to get the Buffalo Bills' second- and third-round selections (Nos. 42 and 73 overall).
