Downers Grove South swept through St. Charles without taking any prisoners on Saturday.

The Mustangs extended their softball winning streak to 15 games by scoring double-digit runs against West Aurora, St. Charles East and Hoffman Estates in final-day action of the Saints' six-team round-robin tournament.

Bradley-bound shortstop Lauren Meister terrorized opposing pitching all morning and afternoon for Downers Grove South, launching home runs in each game as part of a 10-RBI personal feast.

The Mustangs' senior delivered the key blow against West Aurora in a top-10 Daily Herald collision in the first game: a sixth- inning grand slam that was the capstone to the Mustangs' 7-run frame that turned a nip-and-tuck 3-3 game into a decisive 10-3 verdict.
