PROJECT OVERVIEW

Canada-based FALCONBRIDGE LTD. is currently involved in 2 mine development project feasibility studies that are scheduled for completion by the second half of 2007. One project, the El Morro copper/gold property is in Chile while the other involves the El Pachon copper/molybdenum mine in Argentina.

According to Aaron Regent, FALCONBRIDGE President, his company will be in a position to decide which undertaking will go first as soon as the studies are completed. In any case, the company plans to increase its copper production output from the current 500,000 tons per year (t/y) up to 1 million t/y over the next 5 to 7 years.
