JACKSONVILLE, FL - Local housing leaders broke ground today on Kimbers Cove Apartments, a new, 288-unit, $25.6 million apartment development designed to provide affordable housing for Jacksonville's working families, and contribute to the redevelopment of the Cecil Field community in west Jacksonville. Public and private partners participating in the development of Kimbers Cove include: Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority; Jacksonville Housing Commission; PRS Companies; Highland Mortgage Company; MMA Financial; and Fannie Mae (FNM/NYSE), the nation's largest source of financing for home mortgages and affordable rental housing.
