Edmonton, Alberta CANADA, /FSC/ - Carfinco Income Fund (CFN.UN - TSX Venture), (the "Fund") is pleased to announce the results for the Second Quarter ended June 30, 2004.
During the first six months of fiscal 2004, the net earnings were $1,106,378, an increase of $735,482, or 198.3%, from the net earnings of $370,896 recorded for the first six months of fiscal 2003.
Net earnings of $580,857 for the second quarter of fiscal 2004 increased $55,336, or 10.5%, from the net earnings of $525,521 for the first quarter of fiscal 2004. In comparison, net earnings of $580,857 increased $290,851, or 100.3%, from the $290,006 stated for the second quarter of fiscal 2003.
