NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The global community of tissue engineers and regenerative medicine scientists has joined together to form one new international organization: the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS, www.termis.org). Tissue Engineering, a monthly peer-reviewed MEDLINE journal published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers has been designated the Official Journal of TERMIS (www.liebertpub.com/ten).

The Societies involved in the merger are the Tissue Engineering Society International (TESi), the European Tissue Engineering Society, and several Asian Tissue Engineering Societies. With this collaboration, the organization brings together nearly 2,000 members from over 30 countries...
