Make no mistake, the juices are flowing again.

With every passing day, thousands of eager souls sense their hearts beating a tad quicker. These same people probably have sat quietly through the dark months of winter with their fishing rods in their hands, imagining the moment when a Fox River smallmouth bass will grab a minnow and make off for sanctuary.

These are the working stiffs who dream of that one-week vacation on the Chippewa Flowage or a foray into some back bay on Rend Lake. The ritual never ceases.
