White-belt-wearing ravers and dreadlocked kids who like to follow jam bands all come to a Brothers Past show when it's in town.

At least that's what it looks like from the stage to Tom Hamilton, the Philadelphia-based band's lead songwriter, vocalist and guitarist.

"It's cool to see all these types of people coming together," he says when reached at a tour stop in Boulder, Colo. "It's a cool experience and it shows that we are doing something correctly. Apparently, we are touching people's lives."
