Antioch's Kent finds numerous ways to stand out from crowd.

The bathrooms get crowded. Privacy is sometimes nonexistent. And time alone with your parents is often at a premium.

Growing up in a house with five kids isn't always easy. Especially when you're kid No. 4 of five.

"You're not the oldest, you're not the youngest, you're not even in the middle," explains 18-year-old Chandler Kent, whose family includes sisters Shoshanah (age 25) and Ciarra (21) and brothers Justen (22) and Logan (15). "Sometimes you feel like it's hard to stand out."

Yet, Kent has managed to stand out not only in his family, but in his school and community as well.

Kent is in the homestretch of a brilliant career at Antioch High School, where he's had an enduring presence on both the varsity basketball and baseball teams.

Four years ago as a freshman, Kent impressed varsity baseball coach Paul Petty so much that Petty made him his starting third baseman. The next year, Kent became the varsity basketball team's starting point guard and then slid over to play shortstop for the baseball team in the spring.
