Voting problems drive people away

I arrived at Abiding Peace Lutheran Church in Elgin at approximately 6:45 p.m. to vote on Election Day. I realize that with a lot of people getting off work and the polls closing in 15 minutes, I could expect a wait to vote. I was OK with that, but not a 45-minute wait.
