Coach: Erik Hoberg, fourth season.

Last year's record: 15-1, league champions. Defeated Sandy, 6-3, in second round of playoffs and lost to Southridge, 6-2, in third round.

Outlook: Senior starting pitcher Jerad Thompson was a first-team all-league pitcher, and Drew Irsfeld was a first-team selection as a relief pitcher. Junior Andrew Schumacher was a first-team outfielder and Josh Hogan was a first-team pick as an infielder. Jacob Franke, a transfer from North Eugene, was a second-team selection as a relief pitcher. Hogan moves from second base to shortstop, and Adam Trautman returns at third base.

Quotable: Hoberg: "So far, we've had good defense and we've gotten some good pitching performances out of Jerad but we are still trying to figure out who our top hitters are going to be, particularly in the middle of the order."
