SPRINGFIELD - Things are getting a little crowded at PeaceHealth's bustling RiverBend hospital job site.

With construction of the 859,000-square-foot regional medical center in full swing, the project's on-site work force totals nearly 300. More will arrive next month, and by the time activity reaches its peak in late 2007, as many as 500 workers will be performing various tasks at the Gateway area property.
