During a 12-year stretch when Tony Jeff lived in nine different cities, he learned one important truth: that he wanted a career in Mississippi.

"Strangely, I don't think my family ever suggested that it was the fight move outright, but through discussions with them, they led me to the correct conclusion that Mississippi was the place I needed to be," said Jeff, vice president and COO of the Mississippi Technology Alliance.

Moving to Jackson in 2002 gave Jeff nearly three years to spend more time with his dad, Jim, who died last March.
