Some of Lane County's smallest school districts showed the largest enrollment increases this academic year, according to state figures released Monday.

The Creswell School District had both the largest number of new students - 147 - and the largest percentage increase, 14.1 percent. District enrollment rose to 1,189 this year from 1,042.

Two other small districts filled out the county's top three spots in the annual enrollment report.

Both the Crow-Applegate-Lorane School District and the Lowell School District grew by just more than 11 percent.
