A month or two ago, they were throwing Joey Harrington under the bus in Detroit.

Now, they're going to let him drive it again.

Such is life for the former Oregon quarterback, whose NFL career seemed bound for anyplace other than Detroit when last season ended, and who now will return to the Lions as the designated starter for 2006.
