Last week after school, Round Lake forward Jeremy Shedrick visited his coach, Mark Petrynek, to discuss the team's chances in the Class AA Antioch boys basketball regional.

"He came in when class was over and sat down with me and just asked me if we have a chance against Waukegan," Petrynek said.

Perhaps Shedrick was getting ahead of himself as the No. 19 seed Panthers still had to beat No. 13 Antioch before having their shot at the Bulldogs.

Shedrick and Jaquan Glover made sure they would get that shot by leading Round Lake in a 67-60 victory over Antioch.
