Damon V. Jones told a courtroom of his victims Monday that he'd pick a death sentence if given the choice.

Instead, the Naperville man will spend most of his life in prison.

DuPage County Circuit Judge Michael Burke sentenced the 27-year- old Naperville man to 60 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to three home invasion and armed robberies and the rape of a Warrenville woman during one of them.
