Fox's new series "Free Ride" isn't a fish-out-of-water comedy, so much as it's a fish-back-in-the-water comedy, back in the backwaters to be precise.

Having just graduated from college in California, Nate Stahlings packs up his Mini Cooper and returns home to Johnson City, Mo. Humiliating as it is to move back in with the folks, it's got to be better than going out in the real world, right?

Or, as Nate tells a chum over the phone, "It's like having servants."
