A handwritten note from a doctor was sufficient notice to an employer to allow an employee to return to work after taking leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). (Brumbalough v. Camelot Care Centers, Inc., 427 F.3d 996 (6th Cir. 2005).)
