After interviews with four candidates over the weekend, Bethel School Board members have zeroed in on two finalists in their search for a new superintendent.

Both live close by. Brian Flick, 42, is principal at Bethel's own Irving Elementary School, and has worked in district schools his entire 19-year career.

Colt Gill, 39, is in his fourth year as assistant superintendent in the South Lane School District in Cottage Grove.
