BEAVERTON - Former University of Oregon standout Ben Crane was named the state's male professional athlete of the year at the Oregon Sports Awards given out at the Nike World Campus on Sunday.

Crane won $2,457,329 last season to finish 12th on the money list, and finished in the top 10 six times, including a victory in the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee.
