Today announced preliminary revenue results for the three- and twelve-month periods ended December 31, 2005.
Revenue for the full year 2005 is expected to be $18.0 million, in line with the company's 2005 revenue projection and compared to 2004 revenue of $9.0 million. For the fourth quarter 2005 revenue is anticipated to be approximately $5.3 million, representing 45 percent growth over the same period of 2004.
"We firmly believe execution of our well-defined strategy has propelled our revenue growth and improved our financial position," stated Tim Koziol, chairman and CEO of GEM. "Management originally set out to develop our competitive advantages in systems, marketing and logistics in the Western Region. In 2003 and 2004, we acquired one Treatment, Storage, Disposal Facility (TSDF); two service providers and our proprietary software. In 2005, we successfully integrated these components with our sales strategy, driving organic growth of 90 percent year-over-year."
Koziol continued, "Next, we plan to leverage our experience and duplicate this platform in new markets. In addition, we intend to supplement this growth by adding and building niche business segments that carry higher margins. In 2006, we expect to acquire regional non-capital intensive TSDFs as well...
