Lace up your shiny shoes, pop that collar up and strut on down to the Hilton Eugene on Saturday when disco returns again, baby.

Last year, Satin Love Orchestra was turning people away at the door for its New Year's Eve show. This year, the band will bring its "straight up disco" sound to an enlarged stage at the Hilton. The ballroom will seat 600 more people than in 2004.

"We provide mainline disco," band member Rich Sellars says. Sellars plays percussion, sings and "jumps around like a freak."

Satin Love covers disco and funk kings such as the Ohio Players, Rick James, the Bee Gees and the Commodores. Although the band won't be playing any original material at this show, it does plan to record and release its second album of originals some time next year.

A portion of the ticket sales this year will go to the Give the Kids the World Foundation.

A guitar, signed by all of the Satin Love Orchestra members, will be raffled. The proceeds of the guitar giveaway will go to the Relief Nursery.
