They call it the "midnight rule."

"After midnight," explained Oregon's Eleanor Haring, a 6-foot-1 junior forward, "we're over the game. Win or lose."

The Ducks hope that rule has not been broken following a lost week in Los Angeles when they were overrun in Pac-10 Conference women's basketball setbacks to UCLA and USC.

Oregon, which attempts to right itself in the team's final nonconference game of the regular season tonight at Colorado, and its impressive defensive numbers were riddled by the two Los Angeles teams.
