In response to my July/August column ("Delegation: Responsibility and Authority") I received the following message:

"I feel that there is a good potential for using management engineering, an emerging specialty within industrial engineering, that addresses management as work to be performed to get the message of your article across with greater impact. The distinction arises in the differing work required of a manager when making assignments and delegations.
