Following revelations of a federal probe into tollway leasing practices after the governor pledged reform, Republicans are crying foul while Democrats and tollway officials say they are confident there was no wrongdoing.

The Daily Herald first reported Thursday that U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has launched a grand jury probe into tollway oasis contracts for fast-food chains, some of which have links to one of Gov. Rod Blagojevich's top fundraisers.
