Littleton Adventist Hospital to Present $150,000 to the Greater Littleton Youth Initiative for Suicide Prevention.

LITTLETON, Colo., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Littleton Adventist Hospital President and Chief Executive Officer David Crane will present a check totaling $150,000 to the Greater Littleton Youth Initiative (GLYI), Wednesday, December 14 at 11 a.m. at Littleton Adventist Hospital. The hospital will donate $50,000 to the GLYI each year, for the next three years, in support of The Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), two comprehensive community-based suicide prevention education and training programs targeting at-risk youth, which have been determined to be the best in the nation by the Office of Suicide Prevention for the State of Colorado. The Yellow Ribbon and ASIST programs are part of the GLYI's Community Suicide Prevention Project.
