International Association of Business Communicators is accepting entries for its Silver Quill Award competition. Entry forms and additional information can be found at www.iabcheritage.com. The National Association of Women Business Owners Greater Detroit Chapter, Detroit, is accepting nominations for its 2006 Annual Top 10 Michigan Business Women Awards. All candidates must be Michigan-based women business owners or individuals or organizations supportive of Michigan women business owners. Nomination deadline: Dec. 5. The awards ceremony is March 16. CONTRACTS

Cornerstone Building Group, Troy, is the general contractor on the five-story, 21-unit Loft 322 project in Ann Arbor and is completing the four-story, 30-unit Metro Lofts project in Royal Oak, both for Denali Development. Cornerstone has also been awarded the addition to Comerica Bank in Farmington Hills.

Sachse Construction of Birmingham is completing two construction projects for national restaurant chains. Carvel Ice Cream chose Sachse to build its new store at 4968 N. Adams Road, Oakland Township. McDonald's Corp. selected Sachse to remodel its 25830 Plymouth Road...
