THE 114TH MEETING OF THE TENNESSEE ACADEMY OF SCIENCE

The annual meeting of the Tennessee Academy of Science (TAS) was held in Columbia, Tennessee, 18-19 November 2004, on the campus of Columbia State Community College (CSCC) with TAS President Michael Redding presiding. President-elect Steve Wright served as Program Chairperson. The CSCC Local Arrangements Committee members were Karen Kendall Fite (Chair), Mandy Carter-Lowe, Spence Dowlen, David Fawcett, Dearl Lampley, Bryan Long, and B. I. Naddy.
The Executive Committee met Thursday evening, 18 November 2004, in the Napier Room of the Jones Student Center on the CSCC campus. Dinner was provided by CSCC. On Friday, 19 November 2004, the general session, annual business meeting, two symposia, and poster session were held in the Hickman Center.
